Try This Slice tries one of Evansville’s big names in pizza: Turoni’s.

- We only order from local pizzerias in the Tri-State.
- We only order cheese pizzas to be able to accurately compare testing samples.
- We rate each pizza out of ten slices.
Here are our takeaways…
- The crust did nothing for us. The word ‘unremarkable’ was used a few times. It’s your standard thin crust.
- Everyone agreed the sauce was good. We just would’ve liked more! Some pieces had lots of sauce, some hardly had any.
- The star of this show… the cheese. It was so flavorful. It was like their cheese was specifically made for pizza.
