Taqueria Y Pupuseria Miranda: New Salvadorian & Mexican restaurant to open Friday

Authentic pupusas and street tacos

Taqueria Y Pupuseria Miranda is set to open Friday, July 30.

The restaurant is family-owned and operated. Jonathan Barrera said he and his family are excited to share authentic Salvadorian food with the community. Their main specialties will be authentic Salvadorian pupusas. Pupusas are thick griddle cakes or flatbreads that are made with cornmeal or rice flour. They are filled with main stuffings including meat, beans, and cheese. Barrera said that they will offer pupusas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours.

Barrera also said that they will offer authentic street tacos along with other traditional items on the menu.

Check them out at 2008 Washington Avenue in Evansville. To learn more, check out their website.
