Swirl, sniff and sip like a pro at the Kenny Kent Lexus Jazz & Wine Festival this weekend.
“We have 13 wineries, 14 restaurants, 3 stages… and 12 musical groups,” said Ann Almquist, event organizer. Beer lovers can enjoy the event, too, because there will be one brewery onsite.
Come for a night of smooth jazz, wine and food from only local, Indiana sources. Wine tasting is free with admission and bottles will be available for purchase. Expect to dish out about $5 for food.
Tickets cost $25 online and $30 at the gate. Click here to purchase tickets online.
Tickets can also be purchased at Paul’s Menswear, Wildflower Boutique and all First Federal Savings Bank locations.
Where: Civic Center Plaza & Old National Events Plaza
When: Saturday, September 15, 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.
The Jazz and Wine Festival supports music education for Evansville’s youth and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. “Families will relocate to a community for the quality of their music programs before they will the quality of their sports programs. We feel like its really important to support that in Evansville,” Ann said.
