Kentucky State Fiddle Championship, Rhonda Vincent heading for Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Calling all fiddlers, pickers, and cloggers!

The 47th annual Kentucky State Fiddle Championship is heading to its new home Saturday, March 20 along with a performance from Rhonda Vincent & The Rage.

This is the first time the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum will play host to the competition. The contest seeks the very best musicians from all over. Musicians will compete in their age groups for the state title in mandolin, guitar, bluegrass banjo, and clogging. There are cash prizes for each category.

The Official Kentucky State Fiddle Championship has a long history of winners dating back to 1974. The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum’s very own education director, Randy Lanham, won the title in 1991.

Think you have what it takes? The contest is currently accepting entries online until March 16, 2021. After that time, participants can register onsite the day of the contest.

Spectators are allowed at the event. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
