The Hornville Tavern is looking for a new owner.
The northern Vanderburgh County staple, known for some good fried chicken, is out on W. Baseline Road.
The listing says the building, restaurant, bar, and catering business are all for sale, including a three way liquor license.
The Hornville Tavern has been around since the 30’s and employees 25 people.
Butch and Deb Schnieder have owned the business for 11 years, and they say they are waiting for the right buyer to come along to continue it.
The owners say there are no plans to close.
Deb Schneider tells us it’s time to retire and enjoy time with grandchildren.
