Evansville Taco Festival adds another day to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Not one, but TWO days just for tacos

Tacos deserve more than just Tuesdays.

And EvansvilleEvents.com believes they deserve a two-day festival, rather than one! The 3rd annual Evansville Taco Festival has expanded to two full days just for tacos, margaritas, Hispanic heritage, and more.

The event will be Saturday, September 14 from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, September 15 from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Old National Events Plaza.

In fact, the second day of the festival is the official first day of Hispanic Heritage Month.

You can expect to get some of the areas best authentic tacos.

There will be…

  • Over 15 food vendors with great authentic foods
  • Frozen Margarita Bar
  • Tequila Flights and Expo
  • Salsarita’s Chili Pepper Eating Contest + Taco Eat Competition
  • Kids Zone
  • Live music including a Mariachi band, Island music, Mexican music, and rock

General Admission tickets can be purchased online for $9.95. Click here for more info on tickets.

Children 10 and younger are free.

Like all EvansvilleEvents.com events, food and drink purchases will work on a voucher system where vouchers will be used like cash at each food and drink vendor.

Tacos will be $3 each.
