Drop your letter to Santa in this mailbox for a reply from the jolly man himself

Santa's mail box is in Downtown Evansville!

Santa has placed a very special mailbox on Downtown Evansville’s Main St. Walkway!

Every letter placed in Santa’s Mailbox by December 15 will receive a reply from Santa himself. The mailbox is located at 3rd & Main St in Downtown Evansville.

Write your letter at home or right next door at River City Coffee & Goods at the Santa Letter Writing Station. Don’t forget to include your return address on the letter!

Every letter will be taken to the Santa Claus Museum and Village where Santa’s Elves are busy answering thousands of letters from kids around the world. The Santa Clause Museum and Village is home to the Original Santa Claus post office.

Most letters addressed to ‘Santa’ and only Santa find their way to this post office! Click here to learn more about Santa’s Elves and the Santa Claus post office.

Santa’s Mailbox is part of the festivities put on by the Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District (EID). Venture to Main St. to write your letter, shop, take photos at the backdrop of lights, enjoy the holiday decorations and events all happening Downtown.

“Bringing Santa’s Mailbox to Downtown Evansville was a way for us to ensure that all children in our community have an opportunity to connect with Santa and the magic of the holiday season. We invite everyone to see our holiday décor, shop and dine downtown and for children of all ages to place their letters in the mailbox,” said Josh Armstrong, president, EID.

Don’t miss the next two events coming to downtown.  EID, in collaboration with downtown shops and restaurants, invite you to Small Business Saturday on November 30 and A Downtown Christmas on December 7.
