River City Weekend loves everything about our local county fairs with all the food, 4H, and all the activities! We asked life long 4Her to name some of the hidden gems of the Vanderburgh County Fair. And voilà!

Livestock Auction

See the best and the brightest from each species presented by their 4Her at the Livestock Auction! The Livestock Auctions will be held Friday, July 26 in the Livestock Show Barn.
Kid’s Corner
Bring your kiddos and maybe even a few of their friends to enjoy the fair at an event just for them! The Kid’s Corner is an oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the fair to make crafts and do other activities. This is a great time for mom and dad to take a break from the heat and crowds, too.
Be sure to stop by in the evenings for nightly magic shows at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Kid’s Corner is open daily at varying times.
Miss Golden Pageant

Be a part of the community of support for these amazing women!
The Miss Golden pageant is an event for girls and women ages 10 to 35 with special needs. Cheer on these extraordinary contestants Saturday, July 27 starting at 6 p.m. in the Vanderburg County Fair Auditorium.
