BEAVER DAM, Ky. (WFIE) - Ohio County High School officials say their choir students are getting an opportunity to take to the stage with Foreigner this weekend.
According to school officials, the students will join the legendary rock band to perform “I Want to Know What Love Is.”
OCHS Choir Director Ryan Himes says the opportunity came about in May when one of Foreigner’s managers contacted him and asked if his students would be interested.
Foreigner has worked with local high school choirs at other stops, bringing students onstage to perform the final song of the show.
Himes said his students were excited when they learned they would get the opportunity. He hopes the students remember the night long after their high school days are over.

The performance is set to take place on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
