EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - 14 News’ very own Jeff Lyons, Robinson Miles, Alli Seaton and Bryce West took part in the Germania Maennerchor’s annual “Brat Toss”!
Volksfest 2026 kicked off Thursday at 11:00 a.m. through Saturday featuring German food, beer and bands.
Thursday’s festivities opened with Mayor Terry tapping the first keg at 6:00 p.m. followed by the “Brat Toss” at 7:00 p.m.
The winner of the contest gets a trophy and a donation to their chosen charity.
According to their Facebook, festivities are planned until 10:30 p.m. tonight, and Friday and Saturday until 11:30 p.m.
