JASPER, Ind. (WFIE) - Heart of Jasper officials are inviting the community to celebrate Independence Day at the Downtown Chowdown: Patriotic Park Party event.
According to a press release, this special patriotic edition of Downtown Chowdown will feature a variety of food trucks, live music by Jon + Stacey, Conner Loveless and Studebakers.
Officials say the event will also feature family-friendly activities and a festive community atmosphere at Jaycee Park.
Families can also cool off at the Jasper Municipal Pool, which will host a special Pool Party from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with $5 admission per person.
They say the evening will conclude with Jasper’s Independence Day drone show display beginning at 10:15 p.m.

Admission to the park is free, and everyone is encouraged to bring family and friends to enjoy great food, live entertainment, and one of Jasper’s favorite summer traditions.
The event takes place on Thursday, July 2 from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Jasper Riverwalk Plaza.
