JASPER, Ind. (WFIE) - Heart of Jasper officials are inviting the community to enjoy a delicious evening along the riverfront as the Downtown Chowdown returns to Jasper for the 2026 season.
According to a press release, the family-friendly event brings together a variety of food vendors serving up local favorites and new additions.
Officials say the event creates the perfect opportunity to enjoy great food while spending time with family and friends.
They say the event is free and open to everyone. It’s designed to encourage community connection.
The event takes place Thursday, June 4 at the Jasper Riverwalk Plaza from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Here’s a full list of dates when the event will be happening throughout the season:

- July 2 at Jaycee Park (Patriotic Park Party)
- September 3 at Jasper Riverwalk
