Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana donated $42,500 to Honor Flight of Southern Indiana which will go towards their next flight, EVV9.
Honor Flight of Southern Indiana transports local veterans to Washington, D.C. for a chance to see the memorials erected in their honor.
Hundreds of veterans have participated in the eight Honor Flights since its first flight in October 2014.
The donation by TMMI will cover costs for 85 veterans to go on EVV9.

Diane Shaw, vice president of Honor Flight of Southern Indiana, notes that while all veterans fly free on Honor Flight, this will lessen the burden to raise funds in the months leading up to the flight.
