Vegan Eats and Treats: Vegan food has never looked so good

Vegan food can be so delicious!

When I think of vegan food, I normally think of food that is less than flavorful that has an odd texture. My opinion of course comes from the fact that I compare the real version to the vegan version. Never have I ever said,  “I’d prefer the vegan version,” until I saw Vegan Eats and Treats.

Go ahead and throw out everything you know about vegan food out the window. Vegan Eats and Treats in Evansville, IN is here to showcase how vegan food can be fun, delicious, and easily accessible.

Tori Chapman is the owner of Vegan Eats and Treats and she is on a mission to show the world the amazing things she can do with plant-based foods. Her vegan cooking skills really are top-notch. Just look at the video above to hear her story about how she got a cattle farmer to unwillingly admit that her vegan versions of food were tasty.

Just take a look at the Fried Green Tomato BLT below that she makes. Every single ingredient is plant-based. It has homegrown fried green tomatoes, their house-made vegan bacon, crispy green leaf lettuce, creamy avocado, vegan mayo, on a toasted and buttered roll.

Yum!
