1. Empty Bowls Evansville

Saturday, November 10

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Browse from over one thousand handmade ceramic bowls at the 7th Annual Empty Bowls Evansville charity sale. One purchase of a bowl includes a hot bowl of soup from Sauced and bread from Because Bread Bakery. Most bowls are $10, but there will also be premium gallery pieces priced from $20 – $500. The event supports local homeless shelters and food pantries serving the homeless and hungry.

2. West Side Story

Saturday, November 10 at 7 p.m.

Sunday, November 11 at 2 p.m.

In celebration of composer Leonard Bernstein’s 100th birthday, conductor Alfred Savia will lead the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra in a musical performance of ‘West Side Story’ this weekend. The concert is a modern day version of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and will be the first time the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra performs the entire West Side Story music score.

Kraftucky Arts & Crafts Expo

Friday, November 9 – Sunday, November 11

  • Friday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Head to the 5th Annual Kraftucky Arts & Crafts Expo at the Owensboro Convention Center for handmade goods, hobby classes and more! There will a wide variety of unique handmade creations from woodcrafts, furniture, holiday decorations, quilts, jewelry and more. Admission is $3 for adults. Children 12 years old and younger will be admitted for free.
