Thanksgiving day – Sunday, November 25

Grab your tickets to the Hadi Shrine Circus for a show filled with lion tamers, acrobats, dazzling lights and more! The show is fun for the whole family and there’s even an opportunity for kids to ride an elephant, pony and camel if you come an hour before show time. There will be nine shows in total throughout the weekend and all show times are held at the Ford Center.

Thanksgiving night – New Year’s Day

Wrap up the turkey and jump into something warm for the 25th annual Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights. Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights opens Thanksgiving night and remains open through New Years Day. Garvin Park has been transformed into a land of wonder with over 60 winter light show exhibits totaling 81,360 light bulbs! Drive through in the comfort of your own vehicle or if you’re feeling especially festive, choose to ride on a horse-drawn carriage.

Hours:

  • Sunday-Thursday 5 – 9 p.m.
  • Friday-Saturday 5-10 p.m.
  • Christmas Eve 5-10 p.m.
  • Christmas Day 5-10 p.m.

Admission:

Cash only!

  • $7 Drive-through, up to six people
  • $10 Drive-through, seven to fourteen people
  • $25 Drive-through, fifteen or more people
  • $30 Horse-Drawn Carriage, up to six people

Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights

Christmas at Panther Creek

Thanksgiving night – January 2nd

6 – 9 p.m.

Head to Panther Creek Park for Christmas at Panther Creek starting Thanksgiving night through January 2nd to enjoy over 500,000 shinning holiday lights. Drive through in your own vehicle or choose to take the wagon ride. Wagon rides are available nightly depending on the weather. Admission is $3 per vehicle.

Santa Claus Land of Lights

Thanksgiving night – December 30

5 – 9 p.m.

The Santa Claus Land of Lights tells the story of Santa’s guiding light, Rudolph the red nose reindeer through thousands of LED lights and displays. Admission is $15 for cars, pickups, SUVs and Mini Vans.

Every vehicle gets a free photo with Rudolph, but don’t wear any green colored clothes! The photos are taken on a green screen and any green clothing will disappear into the background.

Onesie Bar Crawl

Saturday, November 24

6 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Get cozy and head to Franklin St. for the Onesie Bar Crawl. The event is free to participate and Evansville’s TED will be available for rides to all the Franklin St. bars.

Santa's Toys Live Reindeer Event

Saturday, November 24 & Sunday, November 25

12-4 p.m.

Head to Santa’s Toys this weekend to see LIVE Reindeer! There’s no cost to participate and photo taking is encouraged. The two reindeer have been raised like pets and enjoy the attention. The event will be held at Santa’s Toys in Santa Claus, IN.
