Spooktacular Walkthrough planned for Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden this fall

Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden is hosting a new Halloween event this Fall in light of COVID-19.

Instead of their popular event Boo at the Zoo, the Zoo is hosting a Spooktacular Walkthrough on Saturdays and Sundays starting on Saturday, October 10 through Sunday. November 1.

There will be spooky decor throughout the Zoo, photo opportunities, Halloween costume contests, and, of course, candy handed out in treat bags. Just like any trip to the Zoo, you’ll be able to see all the animals while you’re there.

Danny Schembre, Marketing Director at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden said that event will not have as many attractions as Boo at the Zoo because of the risk they pose with COVID-19, but the Spooktacular Walkthrough will be just as fun.

The event is included with a general admission ticket into the Zoo, you just need to reserve your tickets online. Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden Members still have free admission, but they need to reserve ‘tickets’ online. The Zoo is only taking ticket reservations at this time in order to control the Zoo’s capacity and flow.
