Showplace Cinemas has released their dollar movie lineup for Summer 2018. Here is the list:
- June 5-7: Smurfs: The Lost Village (PG)
- June 12-14: The Emoji Movie (PG)
- June 19-21: Despicable Me 3 (PG)
- June 26-28: The Nut Job 2 (PG)
- July 3-5*: Lego Batman (PG)
- July 10-12: Boss Baby (PG)
- July 17-19: Captain Underpants: The First Most Epic Movie (PG)
- July 24-26: Ferdinand (PG)
There will also be a Kid’s Tray Special – kid size popcorn and drink for $2.50.
Tickets can be purchased at Showplace Cinemas locations or online.
Showings will take place at the following locations:
- Tuesdays: Showplace East
- Wednesdays: Showplace Newburgh, Henderson, Princeton, Connersville, and Harrisburg, IL.
- Thursdays: Showplace North

*Due to July 4th falling on a Wednesday this year, the Showplace Newburgh, Henderson, Princeton, Harrisburg, and Connersville showing of ‘Lego Batman’ will be on Tuesday, July 3rd.
