Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights

The 25th annual Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights opens Thanksgiving night and remains open through New Years Day.

Garvin Park has been transformed into a land of wonder with over 60 winter light show exhibits. Drive through in the comfort of your own vehicle or if you’re feeling especially festive, choose to ride through on a horse-drawn carriage. Horse-drawn carriage rides are available every night, weather permitting.

Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights will be closed to vehicles and open only for the Bright Lights 5K for Easterseals and Community Walk on December 4.

All proceeds from Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights will fund therapy for local individuals with disabilities at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.

Hours:

  • Sunday-Thursday 5 – 9 p.m.
  • Friday-Saturday 5-10 p.m.
  • Christmas Eve 5-10 p.m.
  • Christmas Day 5-10 p.m.

Admission:

Cash only!

  • $7 Drive-through, up to six people
  • $10 Drive-through, seven to fourteen people
  • $25 Drive-through, fifteen or more people
  • $30 Horse-Drawn Carriage, up to six people

Christmas at Panther Creek 

Christmas at Panther Creek is open November 29 through January 2 from 6 – 9 p.m.

Head to Panther Creek Park for Christmas to enjoy over 500,000 shinning holiday lights. Drive through in your own vehicle or choose to take the FREE wagon ride. Wagon rides are available nightly depending on the weather.

Santa Claus Land of Lights

Santa Claus Land of Lights is open Thanksgiving night through December 29.

The Santa Claus Land of Lights is a 1.2-mile drive that tells the story of Santa’s guiding light, Rudolph the red nose reindeer through thousands of LED lights and displays. Every vehicle gets a free photo with Rudolph, but don’t wear any green colored clothes! The photos are taken on a green screen and any green clothing will disappear into the background.

Find $4 coupons available at area McDonald’s. A portion of the proceeds benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities. Coupons can be found at these locations:

Indiana: Ferdinand, Boonville, Evansville, Jasper, Mt. Vernon, Newburgh, Petersburg, Princeton and Tell City

Kentucky: Beaver Dam, Central City, Greenville, Henderson, Madisonville, Morganfield, Owensboro and Providence

Illinois: Albion, Carmi, Fairfield and Mt. Carmel

Christmas Lights of Hope

The Carmi Christmas Elves are hosting the Christmas Lights of Hope at the Carmi Fair Grounds Floral Hall. The holiday light display made of giant LED decorations includes gingerbread houses, elves making toys, and event a toy factory that is over 12 feet tall and 25 feet wide!

Operating Schedule:

Open every weekend leading up to Christmas and the entire week of Christmas from 6-9 p.m.

Admission:

The Carmi Christmas Elves will be taking donations that will benefit to local youth and poverty-stricken residents in their community. Donations amounts are up to the discretion of each guest.
