Calming room added at Holiday World for park goers with special needs who will benefit from a quiet, relaxing break from the park’s sensory stimulation.
Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari has added a new feature for guests that would benefit from getting away from the stimulation of the park and relax in a quiet and calm environment.
The Calming Room includes bean bag chairs, a small tent, adjustable lighting, couch, and air conditioning. It is located inside the First Aid building in Spalshin’ Safari’s plaza.
The Calming Room may be reserved on a first come, first served basis at Guest Relations, Holiday World Services, or First Aid for 30-minute sessions.
Holiday World opens the 2018 season on May 5.
