Zombies, ghouls and a haunted house spewing freaks. This farm has the scares inside and out.

2. 25th Annual Newburgh Ghost Walks

The legends of haunted, Historic Downtown Newburgh stem from the Civil War, Underground Railroad and Newburgh river lore. Participants can choose between three different haunted tours: Hayride Tour, Water Street Tour and State Street Tour.

Each tour will be led by a guide into the streets of downtown Newburgh. Along the way, the group will stop at special locations to hear the haunted tale associated with that stop.

Tours depart every twelve minutes from Preservation Hall.

3. Willard Library

Are you brave enough to meet the Grey Lady face to face? She’s known to throw books off shelves and on to the floor. The tour will recount famous Grey Lady stories in the exact location of the library where they happened.

Tours are free and last about 30 – 45 minutes.

4. Terror on the Trail

Siblings that were tortured their entire life by their own mother are on the loose. The people in town call the eldest ‘Foulness’ as he is the leader of the pack and the one to murder their mother. Now… they terrorize the city.

Trail organizers recommend for kids ages 12 and younger to stay home because this trail is ‘intended to scare people’. Wear good walking shoes, Terror on the Trail is an outside walking event.

On Saturday, October 20 at 5:30 p.m. there will be trailer rides through the trail for the handicapped.

5. Haunted Historic Evansville

Haunted Historic Evansville includes two spine-tingling tours: Riverside Historic District Tour and Haynie’s Corner Arts District Tour. Expect spirit and ghost appearances throughout the hour-long tours filled with history and mystery.

6. Olde Courthouse Catacombs and the House of Lecter: Classic Monsters

The Olde Courthouse Catacombs and the House of Lector presents ‘Classic Monsters’. These monsters are classics for a reason. Don’t think just because you’re familiar with them that it will be any less frightening.

These two haunted houses are two blocks apart.

It is the most fun you’ll ever have being chased by monsters and demons. Psycho~Path is in the woods with big hills and obstacles and therefore it is not handicap accessible.

Psycho~Path a part of Sleeping Bear Retreat‘s Halloween events and is coupled with the Dead End Maze and Paintball Zombie Hunt.
