Dirt, mud, and more at Wesselman Wood’s Nature PlayScape

Wesselman Nature Society has unveiled their Nature PlayScape.

The PlayScape is made up of creeks, dirt, mud, and nature. Officials say this is the largest PlayScape in the nation, with three acres to explore.

Elaine Edwards, communications director for Wesselman Nature Society told 14NEWS, “it is a creek to splash in, it’s mud to dig in, it’s forts to hide in, it’s teepees to build on. It’s all kinds of things.”

The PlayScape is open during the same hours as the nature center, but will close one hour early to give visitors a chance to rinse off.
