Children and teen’s summer reading programs

Who doesn’t love a good summer book? At the Henderson County Library, it’s time for summer reading programs.

The library is offering two summer reading programs: one for teens and one for children.

Check out this lineup for teens:

  • Wednesdays at 2 p.m. – Anime Afternoon
  • Thursdays at 2 p.m. – Teen DIY
  • Friday, June 29 at 5 p.m. – After Hours Teen Laser Tag

As always, the GameOn! Teen Gaming Program will be held every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. including a special Super Smash Brothers Tournament on June 5 starting at 3 p.m.

Teens aren’t the only ones who get to have fun. Check out this lineup for children:

  • Mondays at 6 p.m. – Tween Maker Mondays
  • Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. – Reading and lunch in Freedom Park
  • Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. – Family Summer Series
  • Wednesdays at 6 p.m. – Rock N’ Build
  • Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Reading and lunch in Central Park.
