Here are several fun things to do this weekend around the River City:
1. Lunch on the Lawn Bicentennial Birthday Bash
To celebrate 200 years of Vanderburgh County, there will be food trucks, inflatables, and face painting between the Old Courthouse and the Old Vanderburgh Jail. There will also be a zipline!

2. Haynie's Corner Arts District First Friday
July’s First Friday will have art, music, street performers, art, and more. Visitors can get dinner and drinks at Sauced, Bokeh Lounge, Dapper Pig, Evansville Brewhouse, and Walton’s.

4. Walk in the Wetlands
Venture through the Audubon Wetlands and learn more about the unique ecosystem: cypress trees, beaver, frogs, turtles, and more. Hikers must wear closed-toe shoes. The hike will be led by a naturalist.

5. Cruise-In for Highland Challenger League
The Highland Challenger League Baseball Program is raising money for their trip to the Little League World Series. There will be a cruise-in at the Dream Car Museum.

6. Photography class
Learn beginner aspects of photography in Wesselman Woods. Items that will be covered: shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and more. Pre-registration is required.

7. Grand Opening of The Parklands
There will be a dedication and grand opening of The Parklands of Jasper. The Parklands has 48 acres of undeveloped area and a one mile walking trail open from dawn to dusk.
