We love a good spot for a selfie. And one of our favorites is back! Downtown Evansville is bringing back “The Heart of Downtown Evansville” to show some love to 2020 Seniors.
Basically its a 10′ x 10′ metal structure with a giant heart cut out and is lit with almost 2700 red LED lights. The Heart of Downtown Evansville was originally put up for Valentine’s Day and was a great spot for some Instagram worthy photos.
To the Class of 2020:We’ve brought back our Heart of Downtown Evansville to honor you. We ❤️ Our Grads! Graduates…
Now the Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District has added the message “We ♥ Our Grads” to the display. They invite all 2020 Graduates to visit and take photos to commemorate their accomplishments. Visitors are also encouraged to post their photos on social media with #classof2020 and #dtevv.
With everything that has been canceled and postponed for these 2020 Seniors, we like to see things like this happen for them.
The heart is located at the Ford Center Plaza on the 600 block of Main St in Downtown Evansville and will be there through June 1.
